The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar MMO game is more or less a soap opera really. The Blue Mountain Dwarves (Longbeards of Thorin’s Hall and Elves of Duillond) felt they already have their happy ending when they expelled the greedy Dourhand Dwarves. Or so they thought.

Here enters the long-abandoned kingdom of Sarnur. With revenge and war on their minds, the Dourhand Dwarves set camp in Sarnur. Seeing as how Sarnur is but a stone’s throw away from them, the Blue Mountain Dwarves has launched a counter-offensive.

However, they have issues of their own, with tension growing between the Longbeards and the Duillond Elves. Soap opera indeed. But unless the Blue Mountain Dwarves erase the threat of the returning Dourhand Dwarves, they will be limited in the overall Angmar campaign. See how it fits the big picture?
