Back in 1999, Rio Grande Games released a 60-card card game that took players on expeditions to such far-away lands as the Himalayas and the Brazilian Rain Forest. Well, it’s not far if you live near there, of course. Called Lost Cities, the award winning card game is coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. Details about the game in the full article.
During the tail end of the millennium, Rio Grande Games released a 60-card card game called Lost Cities that took players on expeditions from such far-away lands (unless you live near there) as the Himalayas and the Brazilian Rain Forest.
Lost Cities garnered itself the 1999 Meeples’ Choice Award as well as the 2000 International Gamers Award. Seeing as how good the game is, it’s only right that it got translated into a video game. Xbox Live Arcade gamers can expect the game to go live this Wednesday.
The object of the game is to get the most points by mounting the most successful expeditions. It’ll be pretty complicated to explain the rules here, but don’t worry since it’s easy to learn once you dive into it. The game will be available for 800 Microsoft Points.
