The scans are from the newest issue of Famitsu and have an interview with Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy franchise and has created two new franchises for the Xbox 360 entitled Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. These scans of Lost Odyssey give us quite a bit of information:

  • 30 frames per second
  • Interactive opening scene in which you can input buttons for battle commands
  • Battles are command driven and not action driven
  • The playable demo will be between 40 and 60 minutes
  • The final game will be even better than the demo
  • The models for the CG scenes and the models during the game will be almost the same
  • The character designer is personally checking all character models
  • The more in-depth battle system will not be in the demo
  • Character growth system will not be in the demo
  • If you kill an enemy, the enemies still surviving will gain the abilities of those killed
  • The main character cannot die so there is no game over
  • Final game will use some sort of physics engine
  • Playable at Tokyo Game Show
  • Demo disc will be packed in with Famitsu in early November

He also says that Blue Dragon will definitely be released by the end of 2006. Moreover, he adds that Archaic Sealed Heat for the DS should be done in the first half of 2007. According to Sakaguchi, lots of titles will be announced in the future by Mistwalker.
