Lost Planet on PS3 to get all extra content ever released
Not only will Sony PlayStation 3 owners finally get the chance to play Capcom‘s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, but the game’s latest reiteration will also include all extra content from the Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC versions. The package will have everything that used to be available only through download from XBL, or a patch often hosted by Steam.
If the post on PS3’s semi-official ThreeSpeech blog holds true, we’re looking at three sets of map packs (initially went for 400 MS points each), various view modes, movie mode, a chat system, more multiplayer maps for the PC, and other bonuses Capcom dished out since Lost Planet‘s release all in one Blu-ray disc.
When we say everything, that includes extra characters previously exclusive to the PC. We’re talking about that NEVEC soldier Joe, Frank West from Dead Rising, and Mega Man who needs no introductions. There will still be online mode that supports up to 16 players, only over PSN this time.
During Capcom’s Gamer’s Day in London where Lost Planet was announced for the PS3, other jaw-dropping titles were revealed (read: Super Street Fighter 4). Looks like Capcom is on a roll, and you can bet our eyes are peeled so be sure to check back for any updates!
