Lost Planet TGS Trailer: Plus a Cameo of a Worm from “Dune”

Trying to describe Capcom‘s Lost Planet is like trying to snort a bowling ball up your left nostril. Nigh impossible. We know we’ve already given you bulk loads of screenshots and some trailers on the side, but this trailer is something that you just have to check out. Why?

One word: “Epic.” Stir in a mixture of Metroid Prime and Metal Gear Solid, and you’ve got Lost Planet. Yes. You heard right. You got alien bugs and insects (bugs and insects are different, mind you), and heavy-duty war robots. There’s mercenaries in leather suits, giant worms which look like they came from the desert planet of “Dune,” bad guys with ponytails, and a Lavos-like creature from Chrono Trigger. There’s even the makings of what could be a summer romance between two co-workers.

See the trailer for yourself. It’s going to help you tide over the long wait for its 2007 release. Either that, or it’s going to excite you more, enough to  make you snort that bowling ball (up your left nostril).
