LOTR Online Beta Program Signups

The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar registrations for the North American Beta Program are now open!

How can you get in? Well, in order to sign up for the Beta, you have to make an account on the LOTRO forums. After completing your forum registration you will automatically be able to submit your application for the Beta Program.

Besides free play, here’s some extra incentive: prizes! Players who sign up for the LOTRO Beta Program before midnight EST on May 24th are automatically entered into a drawing to win prizes.  There’s one grand prize of a Logitech Prize pack (approximate retail value of $600.00), two second prize pieces of Signed LOTRO Concept Art, and five Turbine T-shirts prizes.

Also, if you’re in a guild, give your guild’s information when signing up. Groups of players from the same guild may be invited together for the Beta Program. If you’re not in a guild, you can always create a guild for LOTRO, get others to join, and submit that info in the guild section of the application. Just make sure all guild members enter the same information to further increase your chances of getting into the Beta Program.

The official start date for the Beta Program hasn’t been announced, but invitations will be sent out with the announcement.
