LOTRO trailer: Race of Dwarves

As part of a series of trailers for the upcoming MMORPG, The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, Codemasters has been releasing short trailers which feature the races that can be found in Middle-earth. Previously, we were given a glimpse of those cheerful folk from the Shire, the Hobbits. This time around, though, we will be acquainted with the hardy race of Dwarves.

Not to be confused with garden gnomes and the creatures Snow White has freeloaded from during her stay in the forest, Tolkien‘s dwarves are the noble citizens of the mountains. Known to be as tough as the rock that they use to build their mines and palaces, they are also known for their skills with stone and metal, from which they can craft things that even the Elves cannot top.

However, it should also be noted that despite being stubborn, proud, and sometimes crass, Dwarves make loyal allies. They have also been known to drop the stern side of their personalities, once enough good ale has been passed around.
