Lufia DS cleared for North American release

Natsume has announced that the latest Lufia game, Lufia II: Curse of the Sinistrals for DS, is being localized for a North American release.

Natsume has announced that the latest entry in the Lufia series (known in Japan as Estpolis), Lufia II: Curse of the Sinistrals for DS, is being localized for a North American release.

The game’s not due out until later this year (fall, in particular), but Natsume CEO Hiro Maekawa says players will get to see it at E3 next month.

Lufia II: Curse of the Sinistrals is a remake of the SNES game Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. One major change is that the DS remake is more of an action RPG than the original.
