Luminator is the DS’ own Lumines

Such good news for Nintendo DS owners who’d love to get hold of Lumines from Q Entertainment: German developer bhv Software created the aptly-named Luminator, which is mostly based on the PSP Lumines. Luminator is set to be released in Europe in Q3 2007. There are currently no plans to release it in other regions.

Luminator features fifteen background visuals (as opposed to Lumines‘ dozens of skins) as well as 15 tunes, which are attested to be of CD-quality. Considering that Germany happens to be the home country of dark trance music, DS fans can be sure that the music will be at least different from the pop soundtrack of the PSP Lumines.
