We have seen several flashcarts and adapters being released for the Nintendo DS Lite recently, and the newest one is coming from the M3/G6 team in the form of a new adapter – the M3 Lite. The M3 line of flashcarts use expandable memory (memory cards) as the storage medium and have the best GBA/NDS compatibility out of all the flashcarts on the market. All of the M3’s have stuck out of the NDS’s GBA card slot, but this new one has been reported not to stick out at all! This was one of the only complaints about M3 adapters, and it seems that this con has finally been overcome with the M3 Lite.

The M3 Lite (M3 Perfect-MicroSD) will use MicroSD cards as its compatible memory card and will allow you to hold a lot more for a lot less than regular flashcarts. There has been no word on if you require high-speed memory cards to acheive top speeds from the M3, but this shouldn’t be an issue with M3. We also know that this product will be released on (or before) August 15th with both a Chinese and an English version! So, will this be the must-have adapter? Stay tuned to QJ this month for a review on this upcoming product and we will tell you! The pictures that are displayed in this article reflect the concept design of the product, it can and may change.
