Maelstrom Alpha2- added new ships, upgrades, and systems

Homebrew developer MadMax11 recently dropped by the QJ.NET forums and informed us that the latest build of the space-faring RPG Maelstrom is now available for download. The latest release marks itself as the second alpha release and includes a lot of interesting new features for this promising homebrew game. You can read about the new changes in our full article.

Take a trip around the galaxy in the latest build of homebrew developer MadMax11's Maelstrom Alpha2 for the PlayStation Portable. The latest release of this space-faring RPG marks itself as the second alpha release and includes a lot of interesting new features.

The game still doesn't contain much in the way of content, but with the way things are going, Maelstrom looks like a promising homebrew game once its final build is complete. Anyway, here's a list of the new improvements added since the previous release:

• Finished jumping sequence
• Added "Sam" system & planet
• Added 7 new ships
• Added new font (04b_03)
• Added new ship upgrade
• Touched up ship images
• Made it so that ship can only land on planet if velocity is very low and ship is right above it
