Mafia II gets release window
Details may have been scarce for Take-Two Interactive’s third-person shooter, Mafia 2, but at least we’re now given the opportunity to narrow down the window for its release. It’s not much, but at least we finally heard something about the game after more than half a year.

At the publisher’s quarterly investors call, Take-Two marks Q3 2010 as the scheduled release of the said game. No less than CEO Strauss Zelnick announced this target date, so it should be reassuring for awaiting fans to know that they do mean to have it out by then. Now, actually releasing it during that period is a different matter altogether.
We’ll just have to wait and see if they’ll be more forthcoming with specific details about Mafia II in the (hopefully) near future.
