Magical Vacation for the DS Newest Info and Screens
Scheduled for release before year’s end, Magical Vacation (still tentative title) is an RPG that promises gamers great adventure as they take on the role of Will O’Wisp Nagical Academy students trying to save their teacher, fellow classmates and the rest of the universe.
The story of Magical Vacation begins with a powerful teacher at the Will O’ Wisp Academy, Madeleine, going off on a dangerous mission in space. She trains the rest of her students for combat should they ever need to take on missions in the future. When the students don’t hear from their teacher after some time, they choose to rescue her, boarding rocket ships and crash-landing on different planets. The students assemble as they hop from planet to planet. They learn later on that a former student of the magical academy turned evil and plans on destroying the universe. The students agree to stop him and rescue their teacher.
Players can choose either a male or a female human character that will be part of the group of students trying to save the entire universe. Each student specializes in a unique kind of magic. Players begin their quest in Magical Vacation traveling to new lands and cities. They will have to fight monsters to earn experience points which they will need to buy armors, weapons and items from different shops. Characters gain more levels and power as they earn more experience points.
In this game, magical attacks are the main focus. As mentioned, each character has a unique kind of magic, and that magic power is attached to one of the planets (perhaps the planet he first landed on). This power increases and decreases depending on the position of the planet, and will affect the magnitude of the character’s attacks when he uses his magic.
Characters can also occupy two different battle ranks – from the front rank they can attack individual enemies physically or by using magic, and from the back rank, they can attack enemy groups using magic only.
Also, with wireless play, a gamer can link up with five other players and explore the amigo dungeon together where there will be various challenges and amazing rewards. There is also a tag mode in the game which allows gamers to exchange data with one another and grow an ‘egg” which will then hatch over time.
