Earlier we reported that after October 1, all first-party PSP titles will be available as digital downloads. Now Jeff Rubenstein’s back with a bit of good news for those who want downloadable versions of their old games.

Speaking to Joystiq, Rubenstein revealed that “the majority of back catalog PSP games will be made available for download around the launch of the PSP Go.” That’s not just first-party games either. Rubenstein clarified that he’s talking about the majority of the PSP’s whole back catalog.

Now all we need is more info on that good will program for UMD owners that John Koller talked about. Oh, and price. I know I’m not the only one who would hate to pay again for a game I already bought.
