MapleStory hits two-year mark, celebrations commence this month

Nexon America Inc., the U.S. division of Asian online game company Nexon Group, has proudly announced that MapleStory is now two years old. As part of the celebration, a host of in-game festivities will be held this month.

There’s the “Massive Maple Item and Weapon Hunt”, an all-out hunt for monsters carrying unique Maple Items and Weapons, the “Birthday Present Blow-out”, where cake and candle monsters designed exclusively for this event carrying birthday presents for users based on their level, and “CodyÂ’s Quest”, where users who complete the birthday themed quests can get a rare game item.

In addition to the aforementioned events, special GameMaster events will take place in MapleStory each day during the week of May 9 to May 16. Players will also get double the experience points and drops from May 11 to May 31. Original player content will also be in the spotlight thanks to events like “Fan-tastic Art!“, the Design a Weapon Contest, and “It’s A-A-A-L-L-I-V-E-E”.
