Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games to have Mii support?

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games - Image 1

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
(DS, Wii) fulfills one worldwide dream – to see characters from two very epic franchises duke it out to see who’s faster, stronger, and more hardcore. It seems, though, that the Nintendo Wii version also lets players compete directly with the likes of Sonic and Mario, with picking your very own Mii as a player character has been sighted as an available feature.

Take note the Mii button on the lower part of the image above, next to the Random character select button.

This image was captured during the playable demo of the game held during the recent Wii Connection Tour in Australia. Of course, while the thought of seeing our own Miis facing off against the cast of both Mario and Sonic franchises, it could also just be an option to change the Miis that represent your player name.

But we all know that having our Miis in the game itself would rock harder, so fingers crossed that it’s the former that comes true.
