Here’s a new trailer video for the title Mario Kart Wii catering to European fans. The game is being internally developed by Nintendo for the Wii console and will be released in Japan on April 10.

Europe, on the other hand, will be getting it the following day while North America and Australia will have to wait two more weeks to purchase a copy. This particular game is part of the highly-successful Mario Kart series.

This version of Mario Kart for the Wii console comes with a few surprises and differences compared to the previous builds. The most obvious of which is the addition of the Wii Wheel peripheral designed to house the Wiimote for better and more conventional steering.

Speaking of controllers, note that you don’t have to stick with the wheel to be able to play Mario Kart Wii. If you want, you can utilize the Wiimote and Nunchuk combo or go old-school with the classic or GameCube controllers.
