Mario Kart Wii tops the charts in Germany and Spain
Here’s some good news for Mario Kart Wii fans around the world. Games Industry reports that the title is selling like hotcakes, with the game topping the charts in Germany and Spain. Want to know what it faced in the two regions? Learn more after the jump!
It’s been a tumultuous beginning for Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii. The game started off with bugs and cheaters getting into the game, with Nintendo getting serious and deleting the records of cheaters. Luckily, there’s some good news for Mario Kart Wii, and it comes in the form of chart-topping sales in Germany and Spain.
That’s right! Mario Kart Wii has defeated some pretty notable games on its way to the top of those charts, taking down Altair, Kratos, Kane, and Dr. Kawashima in the process. Of course, seeing as this is only a smattering of the chart-topping success of Mario Kart Wii, we’re inclined to think that the future holds even more awesome goodness for the game.
