Having been swallowed alive by Koopa, one of the plumbing duo’s funnier objectives is to punish the spikey villain from the inside, with each explosion making him suffer like mad. Just like any RPG, this one has bosses, hard-to-reach-places, and yes, even a battle system, sometimes involving the DS’ stylus for better effects.

This next one is a TV Spot for the game, showing Koopa trying to get rid of Mario and Luigi inside him by swallowing all sorts of stuff.

This last one shows Ebihara Yuri playing Mario & Luigi RPG 3 on her DS. She’s a pretty famous model/actress in Japan, and looks real cute playing with the DS.
