For those who don’t know who the F this kung fu-fighting superhero is, below are some screenshots and a video. Oh yeah, sidenote: I haven’t really kept up to date with any Marvel titles recently, so I was a bit caught off-guard by the new costume.

Vicarious Visions president and co-founder, Guha Bala, also confirmed that Ultimate Alliance 2 will be “more real, a bit grittier” compared to the first game, thanks in part to being based on the Marvel Civil War storyline.

The game has a different narrative style than the classic comic book romp. This is more real, a bit grittier. It’s a look at a pretty compelling debate.

Those who followed the Civil War storyline will know that the two opposing sides were led (and symbolized) by Iron Man and Captain America. In the game, players will be able to play both sides of the war.

Ultimate Alliance 2 will also feature new attacks called Powerfusions, which we reported as a rumor a while back. Powerfusions let players combine the powers of two heroes for a unique new attack. The game itself supports up to four players, so perhaps two is just the least number here. I for one am hoping that we get to combine up to four attacks.
