Activision has released a press release with information about their upcoming Action-RPG, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. The game will feature an amazing 140 characters from various Marvel franchises and multiple endings as well as multiple worlds. It will be a team-based game in which you can customize your team whichever way you like – you get to pick your team name, team logo, and team vehicle. It’s assumed that you’ll also be able to pick your team roster from the many characters available like Spiderman and Wolverine. Your characters will level up as you play through the game and you can pick if you want to concentrate on one character or spread it out to even them up. The game will feature a new combat engine which will allow you to fight underwater, on land, and in the air. The storyline of the game will be directly impacted by the missions you take in the game and the characters you talk to. The game will feature co-operative gameplay with a bit of competitiveness to play both online and offline.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is set for release this fall on PC, current-gen consoles, handhelds, and next-gen consoles. This should likely include the PC, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, PSP, and maybe even the Game Boy Advance.
