Master Chief‘s back on the television. At least, for 60 quick seconds, he was there, and now we can’t wait for him to come back onto the Xbox 360 with Halo 3.

The commercial for Bungie‘s famous franchise aired during Monday Night Football, and for gamers, it was a one-time event. Ever since it was first mentioned, we’ve all been wondering what was going to be in the commercial. Would we see gunfights or war? Would they be very cryptic? Will they get Master Chief to show his face for once? The answers to all those questions were given in the advertisement, which ksolaris managed to grab and upload onto YouTube for embedding.

Anticipation for Halo 3‘s arrival was only made more pronounced by the Halo 3 multiplayer beta sign-ups occurring at around the same time, leading the sign-up site to be rather slow. Still, if you’ve been to the site, then you know you’re going to have to setup your emotional defenses and dry your tears behind your helmets if they don’t pick you for the multiplayer beta.
