In the latest financial earnings and project report for Take-Two, the publisher confirms this delay, a major push back considering that it was originally intended for a Winter 2009 release.

So what could have caused this delay? The report did not give out a specific reason, but presumably it is to polish the game to make it more fit for all the action it’s promising to dish out. You know what we say about delays like this: it’s better to get it late than to get it crappy.
