McGee Says Only Wii is Next Gen

According to American McGee, most known for American McGee’s Alice for PC, only Wii is Next Gen. As a very, very creative (but twisted) person, he thinks that Wii is what next gen should be all about.

“I sense that Nintendo is going to capture the hearts of gamers while Microsoft and Sony stab each other in the neck for market domination. Nintendo is focused on innovation and games. The other guys are focused on making money.”

The entire interview with the man hasn’t been published just yet, but obviously he seems to be favouring Nintendo’s approach to gaming much more than Microsoft and Sony’s. He probably isn’t the only one either. It seems to be the most creative and bizarre people in the industry who are putting 100% faith behind the Wii. We’ll see how this plays out when all the systems are released later this year.

And yes, his first name is “American.”
