Mechwarrior 4 gets green light for free release on PC

Whatever problems MekTek may have encountered in the past with Mechwarrior 4, they have now overcome. Finally, Mechwarrior 4 has been cleared for launch.

 

 

 

 

Whatever problems MekTek may have encountered in the past with Mechwarrior 4, they have now overcome. Finally, Mechwarrior 4 has been cleared for launch.

 

 

The announcement was made over at MekTek’s official website today. If you remember, there was a hold up with the release of the game because Microsoft Legal had not yet given the green light to have the game distributed to PC owners for free.

 

 

MekTek’s statement then read thus: “…the Free Release is held up at Microsoft and it is unknown to us and our Studio when the Free Release will be given the final go ahead.”

 

 

 

Thankfully, that’s all been resolved and you guys should get your hands on Mechwarrior 4 in but a few days’ time. As soon as this weekend, actually.
