Electronic Arts‘ Medal of Honor Heroes 2 on the Nintendo Wii offers a great first-person shooter with 32-player online mode, but fans of arcade on-rails action also have something to be happy about. Of course, that would be Medal of Honor Heroes 2‘s Arcade Mode, which takes the player’s freedom to move to focus on killing baddies. To give you an idea, here’s a video of one of the game’s levels in Arcade Mode.

Like your typical rail shooter, all the work here is on pointing with the Wiimote and shooting at enemy soldiers. The way levels unwrap may be a little different from the actual campaign mode, but objectives should be familiar. Instead of worrying how to advance, all you have to do is unload lead to your heart’s content while watching that kill count rise.
