Medal of Honor: Vanguard Paratrooper video

Wii users had mixed reactions regarding EA’s announcement that they currently developing Medal of Honor: Vanguard for the Wii. Some said that it was “just another PS2 port” while some said that they’d be looking forward to the multiplayer options in the game. Despite varied opinions, we think we can all agree that more games mean more choices, so there’s no cause for complaints, right?

In case you’ve been held hostage under the control of terrorist dwarves, here are some of the stuff you might want to know and look forward to in the game:

  • upgradeable weapons, extensive combat dialogue, cinematic moments, enhanced AI and graphics system
  • the Wiimote will be used for aiming and firing, while the Nunchuk‘s analog stick and two buttons will control player movement
  • split-screen multiplayer, with two to four players in deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and King of the Hill.
  • a new multiplayer mode called Scavenger Hunt, where you’ll be racing against your enemies to gather the most supply drops that’ll be scattered throughout the battlefield.

Medal of Honor: Vanguard is currently brewing in EA’s labs with a scheduled March 2007 release date. We’ll keep you posted for further developments. Meanwhile, here’s the ‘Paratrooper’ gameplay vid:
