Media Create hardware sales: September 28 – October 4, 2009
We now have the results for this week’s Japanese hardware sales for the week of September 28 through October 4, thanks to Media Create. Stats show that PSP got a major leg up, thanks to the launch of the PSP Go, as well as the Wii, thanks to the release of Wii Fit Plus.
We now have the results for this week’s Japanese hardware sales for the week of September 28 through October 4, thanks to Media Create. Stats show that PSP got a major leg up, thanks to the launch of the PSP Go, as well as the Wii, thanks to the release of Wii Fit Plus.
The PSP jumped a whopping 159.46% in sales, selling 33,881 more than last week, for a total of 51,215 units sold this week. The other positive mover this week is the Wii, coming home to 35,392 new owners, and adding a humongous 201.70% increase in its sales records. That’s a hell lot of movement right there!
The DSi still remains at the top, selling another 63,342 units, although it’s down a whopping 15.86% from last week. Check out the full numbers below:

- Wii: 35,392 23,661 (201.70%)
