Media Molecule: LittleBigPlanet to include lip-synching voice chat feature
Imagine a highly customizable sandlot filled with your very own sackboys (and sackgirls). Now imagine if they actually spoke in time with your voice. Sounds cool, doesn’t it? This is just one of the new features the developers from Media Molecule explained regarding their upcoming title for the PlayStation 3 LittleBigPlanet. More details about the other cool features in the full article.
It looks like the developers from Media Molecule are going the extra mile as they introduced the idea of using actual lip-synching voice chat for their upcoming game LittleBigPlanet.
This was revealed in a scan taken from the latest edition of Edge magazine. This rather ambitious plan definitely makes those expressive sackboys (and sackgirls) all the more interesting. You can take a look at the details of the scan by clicking on the thumbnail of the image inserted in the article.
What’s more, that isn’t the only interesting thing the developers have planned for the game. Here’s a statement taken from the scan explaining the other features they are looking to include:
We may even put in some voice filters and stuff like that. That’s something which may not make it in at launch, but that’s the kind of stuff that will be fed in over time. We want to keep people constantly aware of the game and interested.
Considering the already high amount of customization the game has to offer, this definitely makes this a title to watch out for later this year. LittleBigPlanet is set to be released this September in North America and will be an exclusive PlayStation 3 title.
