Merc Roid v.0.3 (Alpha): new features, new levels
PSP homebrew dev lokiare1 has released a new update to Merc Roid, the 3D clone of the classic Metroid game. While the game is still in its Alpha stages, it’s making quite a bit of progress. This version has new features and new levels. Details after the link.

PSP homebrew dev lokiare1 has released a new update to Merc Roid, the 3D clone of the classic Metroid game. While the game is still in its Alpha stages, it’s making quite a bit of progress. This version has new features and new levels. Here are the release notes:
- This update adds more stable level changes (though they are not linked properly). It also adds a menu to start the game.
- Another feature is the gravity while under water is different than normal.
- I also added a few levels, and updated others.
- There is some more behind the scenes programming that will make more things possible in the future.
- In order to get some things to work I had to update the LTE engine.
Some things the author is still working on is adding more monsters, bosses, and a story-line.
