Despite the controversy surrounding Pandemic Studios' sandbox title, the gameplay it offers is still interesting. Mercenaries 2: World in Flames centers on the mercenaries' view of war. Just like arms dealers, mercenaries pretty much profit from the business of war. In the game, players will be able to choose which clients they want to work for. "Clients" have all the resources (read: money and weapons) and things to be done. If you can't get the resources by conventional means, you can always...err... "borrow" some gear.
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames also features a massive array of weapons, new technology, and vehicles. The environments are destructible plus the story open ended. Well, you can check out the screenshots for now as this multi-platform title (Xbox360, PS2, PS3, and PC) is scheduled to hit in the holidays this year.
