Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Multiplayer: Will It Or Won’t It?
After reading this scanned excerpt from NGamer Magazine, a lot of people have been wondering if Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will ship with a multiplayer function straight out of the box, or if multiplayer will only be available as a downloadable extra.
Well, Nintendo producer Kensuke Tanabe has already confirmed that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will not have a multiplayer function, at least not in the same context as Metroid Prime 2. As this is the last of the Metroid Prime games, Retro is focusing on making the single-player mode as good as humanly possible.
Retro is still looking into the possibilities that the Wii’s “always-on” broadband can bring to the game, so a few downloadable extras – levels, maybe weapons… Maybe even a multiplayer function, who knows? – are not out of the question.
