MGS4 and GTAIV kicked off top 10 in UK, SSBB still on top
The UK once again shows its love for anything Mario: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (which was only released on the region by the tail end of last month) is still smashing on top of the charts, and former hotshots Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV are nowhere to be found on top 10. Don’t mess with Mario. What else is on top of the UK charts? Check it out in the full article.
The UK is once again infatuated with Mario. It must be his mustache and piercing blue eyes. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games managed to stay on top of the UK Charts on and off for four months, I wonder how long Super Smash Bros. Brawl will manage to do so. It already beat Metal Gear Solid 4‘s track record on top of the UK Charts.
Speaking of MGS4, the game is nowhere to be found on the top 10, and neither is Grand Theft Auto IV. MGS4 has dropped down to 15th place, while GTAIV is found on the 13th. You can’t mess with Mario. Lego Indy keeps its spot on third place. Here are the rest of the top placers in the UK for the week ending on July 5.
