MIA: Wiikey modchip site

In case you guys have been having problems linking up with the modchip“>Wiikey team’s website, don’t be surprised. We’ve been receiving reports that the modchip developer’s main site has been greeting visitors with an “403 Forbidden” message since last week, and up until this report, is still down.

There’s already been much speculation on what caused this outage, ranging from speculations of a group fallout due to either infighting or the recent upsurge of Wiikey clones, to a reported HDD problem the team experienced on their site’s Linux server.

Given that there isn’t any official word on the matter, we’ll just have to wait and see how this problem develops, and hope that the team makes good on their promise to deliver their new update.
