Michel Ancel Talks Rayman Raving Rabbids
Michel Ancel, the mastermind behind Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil, and Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie sat down for an interview to discuss his upcoming title for the Wii, Rayman Raving Rabbids. What have we learned?
- It will be very humourous in nature
- It will launch on Wii and is being built for Wii, but will also appear on other current gen and next gen consoles
- The storyline focuses on a bunch of rabbits that are invading Earth to take it over after planning it for quite some time
- Pre-production began while King Kong was in progress
- Entire King Kong staff (70 people) now involved with Rayman
- You can control the alien rabbits by dancing
- Controller will be used in a variety of ways:
- To move Rayman
- To do kung fu moves
- To direct creatures you ride on
- To “dance with the bunnies”
‘Dance with the bunnies’? You know… I’m not even going to comment on that one. Keep your mind out of the gutter, people.
