Microsoft implements price cuts to Xbox 360 consoles in Canada

If you happen to live in Canada and are planning to buy a new Xbox 360 console, we have some good news for you. Microsoft has just announced that price cuts will be implemented in the region soon.
Needless to say, the move is to further assert its dominance in the growing market against Sony‘s PlayStation 3 and Nintendo’s Wii.
The changes for each SKU are as follows:
- Xbox 360 console to C$ 349 from C$ 399 (US$ 344.61 from US$ 393.80)
- Premium Elite model would drop to C$ 449 from C$ 499 (US$ 443.14 from US$ 492.49)
- Arcade model is dropping to $279 from CS$ 299 (US$ 275.33 from US$ 295 .07)
Microsoft spokesperson David Dennis said that the change will only affect the Canadian market and not the others, especially the neighboring North American territory. The exact implementation of the price cut has yet to be revealed.
