Microsoft integrating XBL into Windows Mobile?
Based on the job adverts that Microsoft sent out just before Christmas, it would appear that they are gearing up to bring “Xbox Live enabled games to Windows Mobile.” That’s right. And to get it to fruition, they are looking for a principal program manager, software test engineer and senior software test engineer in particular.

However, don’t think that this integration – if ever it does get pushed through – will only be limited to the XBL games. It looks like they’re also setting their sight on bringing avatar integration, social interactions and multiscreen experiences to the mobile platform.
Since Microsoft was very straightforward and specific as to what they need the new staff for, it’s technically as good as the official confirmation itself. However, we’d personally love to find out more about this XBL-Windows Mobile tandem, so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for it, for you.
