Microsoft names IPTV providers in Europe

Here's how it works.

After having just confirmed the existence of the IPTV-capable Xbox 360 at the CES, Microsoft has gone on to note that they are now working with a number of companies who will be providing the necessary services to IPTV-Xbox 360 users.

At the moment, they have noted that commercial and trial deployments are being carried out with 16 companies, “including five of the world’s largest service providers in 14 countries on four continents”. Among these providers include BT Group in the UK, Deutsche Telekom in Germany, T-Online in France and Swisscom in Switzerland. In the meantime, the same services are being developed with AT&T in the U.S.
