Microsoft now releasing Xbox 360 consoles with 65nm CPUs?
Those eagerly waiting for an update – and confirmation – about Microsoft‘s Project Falcon should now take heed: it seems pretty much confirmed that Microsoft has indeed started to distribute their Xbox Falcons equipped with the 65-nm chips. If you’ve just recently got yourself a new Xbox 360, then all you need to get is a flashlight, and a good pair of eyes to check for yourself without having to take the console apart. By peeking underneath the box, you should be able to determine if what you have is the current 90 nm chip, or the newest Falcon 65 nm CPU heatsink.
