Got questions about Microsoft‘s Xbox Live Marketplace video store service and the movies being offered? Never fear, as Stephen McGill, Microsoft head of gaming and service, and Robert Burrowes, Xbox Live marketing manager, both took the time to answer some of questions about the Xbox Live Marketplace service in a recent interview.
According to McGill and Burrowes, Xbox 360 owners who opt to rent movies via Microsoft’s Xbox Live Marketplace service have a two-week time window to watch the movies they’ve rented. Rented movies will disappear after twenty-four hours from the time the initial viewing starts, though viewers may watch the film an indefinite amount of times within that twenty-four hour time limit.
And in case you were wondering, Microsoft has added no new content to the movies for rent via the Xbox Live Marketplace. The films in question have undergone re-polishing and re-editing for the HD format, though.
McGill and Burrowes also discussed other topics, such as Michael Bay and the upcoming Activision-Blizzard merger, so if you’d like to read the details, simply follow the source link back to the full interview.
