Microsoft, Rock Band to jam with 50th Grammy awards

The Annual Grammy Awards are turning gold this year, and Microsoft knows just what to do to make the affair even mores special. They’re fielding in hit music game Rock Band for a bevy of online activities coinciding with the event. Top notch artists are in on this shindig, so don’t dare miss it.

The 50th Annual Grammy Awards are upon us and this one will be made even more special because Microsoft‘s Xbox Live and MTV games’ Rock Band will take center stage. Happening side by side with the festivities is a duo of Xbox Live and Rock Band promos.

The first act will be the Game with Fame portion which happens online for Xbox Live Gold subscribers on February 6, 7 and 8 from noon to 6:00 p.m. PST. Those who sign up will have lots of shots to jam on Rock Band with their favorite music artists.

Luminaries participating in the Game with Fame will include Akon, Ali Hewson, Buckcherry, Daughtry, Dave Koz, Emerson Drive, Emily King, Fat Joe, John Legend, Lang Lang, Lil Mama, Miranda Lambert, Natasha Bedingfield, No Doubt, The Pussycat Dolls, The Roots, Ryan Shaw, Snoop Dogg, Solange Knowles, Tank, and will.i.am, with many more to follow.
