Microsoft Shows Halo 3 at E3
Recently we made a report about Master Chief parading on E3, now we have Microsoft confirming that there’ll indeed be a video footage of Halo 3 at the said expo, along with final official announcements and the first slew of details. The video could be about two minutes long, although nothing is known about it’s contents, so we will have to wait and see.
Halo fans should certainly hope to see their favourite game back in the spotlight. Up till now, it’s been a few quiet months for the incredibly popular FPS series, and neither last year’s map pack for Halo 2 nor Game Informer’s Forerunner rumors have been enough to quench the thirst of the gaming community.
Shane Kim, General Manager of Microsoft Game Studios, said in an interview with a New Zealand entertainment website:
“I have nothing to announce now, but expect there to be a significant announcement at E3”.
Knowing the perfectionists over at Bungie, we probably won’t see the game until 2007 anyway. But the game being one of Microsoft’s major weapons against their rivals, they certainly won’t miss the chance to generate more buzz for Halo 3. See you at the E3, Master Chief!
