Microsoft to announce “exciting project” at Comic-Con
Big events are always a good place to announce new projects. For Microsoft, that’s exactly what they’re gonna do at the Comic-Con on July 23rd, when they announce an “exciting project” that they’ve been trying to keep hushed as of late. Details after the jump.
Big events are always a good place to announce new projects. For Microsoft, that’s exactly what they’re gonna do at the Comic-Con on July 23rd, when they announce an “exciting project” that they’ve been trying to keep hushed as of late.
Microsoft also indicated that “new project” does not necessarily mean “new game” so we could be getting add-ons, or new projects for existing games. Destructoid reports that it’s gonna be the South Park XBLA game, which technically isn’t new, having been announced as far back as E3 2008.
Apart from this mysterious new project, Microsoft will also be presenting a few updates on some of the games they brought at E3 2009, namely: Alan Wake, the Halo 3: ODST expansion, Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC), Shadow Complex, The Beatles: Rock Band, and Splinter Cell: Conviction (Xbox 360, PC). There will also be news on Gears of War 2: Dark Corners, which wasn’t part of the E3 press briefing.
