Microsoft to offer free DLC for every Grand Theft Auto 4 pre-order?
Remember that thing last year where a Take-Two Interactive executive announced that the Xbox version of Grand Theft Auto 4 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) will have its own exclusive episodic content? As it turns out, we still got some fresh new info (still tagged as rumor, of course), even if it was shot down by Rockstar. Read more about it in the full article.
Last year, there were talks of exclusive episodic Grand Theft Auto 4 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) content exclusive only for the Xbox 360 version of the game, which was promptly shot down by Rockstar themselves. However, it looks like we’re getting more information related to this tidbit, despite it being tagged as a rumor (for now, at least).
According to website Xbox Family, Microsoft will supposedly give free content to those who pre-ordered the Xbox 360 version of the game. Of course, don’t get excited over this piece of news yet, since we haven’t received concrete confirmation about the Xbox 360 getting its own exclusive episodic content for Grand Theft Auto 4. But it’s still worth looking into, yes?
To those who aren’t in the loop about the recent Grand Theft Auto 4 affairs, you may want to know that Take-Two Interactive‘s Ben Feder announced the following statement in Take-Two’s fiscal report: “In fiscal 2009, we’ll also be offering additional episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360.” Sounds intriguing, yes?
