Microsoft: we led the charge every holiday season, and we’ll do it again

I’d say he’s right, seeing as the PlayStation 3’s library had nothing on the Xbox 360 last year, and games on the Wii… is on a level of its own own. But then again, the 360 and the PS3 have only shared two Christmases together, and the 360 had a head start, with holiday all by itself when it was released in 2005.
Microsoft definitely had a good holiday season last year, with Halo 3 and Gears of War, but it might be a little early for Spencer to have made his claim: “we are poised to lead the charge again in 2008 with Gears of War 2,” with LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 in the market.
So who can sell more consoles this Christmas? Marcus Fenix, or sackboys and chimera? (Hmmm…. I’d like to see a sackboy chimera.)
