Microsoft’s X-Perience store heads to Europe
The corner of 138 New Street in Birmingham is seriously going to get crowded in a week or two. If you’re wondering why, it’s because Microsoft just put their Underground X-Perience store inside the flagship branch of Europe‘s Gamestation’s franchise. With a setup that includes free play and beanbag chairs, you can’t help but be envious.
Padding Gamestation’s basement with wall monitors, leather sofas and Xbox 360 pods, Microsoft turned it into a hang-out for gamers. Their pods even support multiplayer, so you can bet people will want to have a go at this. This will also be the hub for introducing upcoming peripherals for their console, in case techies want to check out the specs of the newest 360 gadgets.
In addition to 360 merchandise, their X-Perience store will also feature the latest information on Windows Vista, the latest version of Microsoft’s computer OS. That’s a lot of Microsoft for one basement! If you live in Europe, you may as well take a road trip to visit the place, if only to see the giant model of Master Chief.
