Faith is hopping, skipping, and jumping all the way to the App Store in Electronic Arts‘ recently announced iPhone and iPod Touch version of the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC game, Mirror’s Edge.
Mirror’s Edge puts players in control of Faith, a Runner whose mad messenger skillz enable her to run on walls, slide down precarious ramps, ride ziplines, and leap between rooftops in a vaguely futuristic world controlled by a totalitarian regime.
The iPhone and iPod Touch version features 14 levels taking place in 3D environments. It drops the first-person perspective that characterized the console versions and opts for a third-person view instead. You can check out some preliminary screenshots below.
Mirror’s Edge will hit the App Store in January 2010.
