Missed notes: Rock Band 2’s 20 free downloadable tracks (still) delayed
Further problems with Rock Band 2’s (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2) 20 free DLCs: Looks like more delays as they suspend sending out the token codes. Sean Baptiste issued an apology via the Rock Band Forums and promised to try to get the tracks up and available within 24 hours.
Latest update on the 20 free downloadable tracks that Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2) was supposed to have available on Tuesday: FUBAR.
Moreover, they’ve stopped sending out token codes altogether. “Sending out the codes before the content is live will just result in more confusion,” explained Harmonix Developer Sean Baptiste. They hope to have the problem resolved within 24 hours and apologize profusely for the delay. They’re “working their butts off,” as Baptiste put it.
On the PS3 end of things, they’re still working with Sony to get the content up and the codes out but no estimates yet on when the problem will be fixed.
I suppose one can complain about this little gaff but, hey, the stuff’s still free, right? No worries, Harmonix.
