Miyamoto implies Japan may get Mario Galaxy earlier despite planned simultaneous release
With Nintendo hard at work in churning out its power-packed game line-up, Shigeru Miyamoto also let slip to Famitsu that they are aiming for a simultaneous worldwide release for their upcoming video games, much like what Hideo Kojima has planned for Metal Gear Solid 4.
However, when asked about the launch date of Super Mario Galaxy, Miyamoto was quoted to have said, “But, as it’s Japanese people making the game, and we’re making it in Japanese…right?”, which pretty much implies that the lucky Japanese (once again) may get the much awaited Super Mario Galaxy earlier than the slated November 12 launch date.
