Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - Image 1It was revealed that Major League Gaming (MLG) will be working with Ubisoft on the development of their upcoming game: Tom Clancy‘s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC).

To celebrate this new partnership, a map depicting an MLG event at the Las Vegas Convention Center has been added to the game. Apparently, both MLG and Ubisoft collaborated on the development of the map, which was designed with competitive gaming in mind.

Matthew Bromberg, the President and CEO of Major League Gaming, pointed out that he can’t wait to show the map to the members of the competitive gaming community. Here’s what he had to say about it:

We were thrilled that Ubisoft chose MLG to collaborate on the development of a map specially designed for competitive gamers. Rainbow Six was a terrific addition to our Pro Circuit last year, and we can’t wait to turn our millions of Pro Circuit, online and TV fans onto this new game.

This collaboration shows the impact competitive multiplayer gaming has made in both live and online environments. Expect to hear more about Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 which will  have a special release event and will also be featured at the 2008 MLG Pro Circuit.
